The Agazy Commando and Special Forces along with residents of Hawasa and its environs marked the Ethiopian Federal Republic National Defense Forces Day.

Ethiopian Military is known for supporting in times of disaster, helping week farmers, developing degraded land with seedling and running defense industries with advanced technologies along with their usual duty of safeguarding the nation.

Celebrating the day in Hawasa, Agazy Commando and Special Forces have renewed their patriotic words that continue to serve the nation at any cost.

Addis Ababa constructing houses with 5.7 billion birr

Addis Ababa City Administration is managing the construction of houses with 5.7 billion birr. This is according to Construction and Housing Development Bureau of the City.

 

 

In the last two quarters, 3 billion of the finance has been spent to keep the construction rolling.


 

According to the report, the performance of the quarters was improved relatively as it is well organized. The hope is this year will see the completion of 20,000 houses in the city.

julpharpharmacitucalFeb, 07, 2013  A modern pharmaceutical factory constructed in collaboration with Meditech Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) based Julphar Company with 170 million Birr was inaugurated here Wednesday.

 

Speaking on the occasion PM Hailemariam Dessalegn said construction of the factory indicates the growing relation between Ethiopia and the UAE.

 

PM Hailemariam said the factory will significantly contribute in import substitution. He said utmost efforts are underway to substitute import medicines during the Growth and Transformation Plan period of the country.
